SUPER HEROES CLUB
Calling all Superheroes! Garrett and Kerri Marks are excited to announce that we will no longer have GLEE Club! That's because the brand new Aldersgate Superheros Club will be taking its place! The Superhero Club is for girls and boys ages 10 and under who want to learn how they can be a true hero at home, at school, at church, and in their community.
The Club will meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, immediately after the 10:30 service for a light lunch and a combination of physical activity, arts and crafts, games, and age-appropriate mission projects, all with a Superhero theme. We will learn how to use the "powers" that God has given us to do good, and how to avoid being tempted to use those powers selfishly, like a "villain" would. We will learn about different Superheroes from throughout the Bible, American history, and meet everyday heroes from our own community.
The first Superheroes Club meeting will be on March 14th where we will discuss what it means to be a "hero", choose our Superhero names, colors, and super powers. Save the citizen! Bring a friend to any meeting and earn a "power-up" that can be traded in for prizes during VBS in July!
