I want to welcome you to the Aldersgate family. We all long for that special place where we feel loved and safe and welcomed. Aldersgate is a community of faith that welcomes people of all backgrounds. The congregation has an accepting, welcoming spirit. We are a medium sized, multigenerational church with very active programs for children through older adults. Our 8:30 Sunday morning service is casual with uplifting music and a blend of contemporary and traditional worship. Both services have Biblically based, spiritually uplifting sermons. The 10:30 service is more traditional offering children’s sermons and children’s church for families that wish to have their children participate. But at Aldersgate, all children are welcomed to be a part of the worship experience. Both services have a nursery for infants and toddlers.
At 9:30 on Sunday, we offer a broad range of study and fellowship experiences for all ages.
During the week members of Aldersgate volunteer with the community soup kitchen and other local missions, we have Wednesday Bible studies for both youth and adults. There are a variety of opportunities for you to praise God through music with our youth, adult and hand bell choirs.
Aldersgate is a great place to grow your faith, grow in your relationship with Christ and have a wonderful church family. If you have any specific questions about our church please feel free to call the church to speak with me at 803-366-4637 or email me at (pastor@aldersgate-umc.org). I look forward to talking to you and meeting you. Come try us out. You will feel like you have come home.
